Raynaud’s Disease is a rare condition which affects your arteries and is marked by brief episodes in which the blood vessels are narrowed. Raynauds generally effects the blood flow to the fingers and toes, but it can also affect one’s nose, ears, nipples and lips.

Cold temperatures or high levels of stress can cause these episodes of restricted blood flow; as the blood flow returns to normal after an attack, the arteries can swell and cause pain. Typical symptoms include: coldness; numbness; changes in skin color and a stinging pain.
