Can I Get Disability Benefits for an Aneurysm?

Can I Get Disability Benefits for an Aneurysm? An aneurysm is an abnormal ballooning of a portion of an artery which is caused by a weakening of the arterial wall of the blood vessel. It is not exactly known what causes an aneurysm, but they can be present at birth or develop later in life.

Common areas were aneurysms are found are: the aorta; the brain (cerebral aneurysm), behind one’s knees (popliteal artery aneurysm) and in the intestines (mesenteric artery aneurysm).
If you suffer from an aneurysm, hopefully it will be found before a rupture, but even when detected early, an aneurysm can be a life-threatening condition and persons suffering with one may find performing activities of daily living difficult, much less working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year. If this sounds like you, you could be entitled to Social Security Disability benefits and/or SSI benefits.

If you or a love one lives in Alabama and you have questions about your rights concerning Social Security disability benefits, or SSI benefits, please feel from to contact and talk to one of the experienced Alabama Disability Attorneys at Powell and Denny today.
