We Work When You Can't

We Work When You Can't: At the bottom of our blogs, on the back of our free book ("My Alabama Disability Claim: A Guide to Your Alabama Workers' Compensation and Social Security Case") and in our commercials, the phrase "We Work When You Can't" is prominent. We did this for a reason.

Yes, We Work When You Can't is a nice catch phrase, and hopefully easy to remember, but there is more to it than that--this phrase lies at the heart of how we try to run our firm.

After 22 years of handling workers compensation claims throughout Alabama, I have learned that the vast majority of injured workers want no more that the medical treatment they need to allow them to get back to work as soon as possible. I could not count the number of times an injured workers has told me that they were not interested in what money they could receive, they just wanted to receive the necessary medical care so they could return to work. This is not just my interpretation of what is going on when workers are hurt at work, it is a fact. A recent study of job injuries throughout America showed that only 21% of reported job injuries resulted in the injured worker missing time from work.

Those who have suffered job injuries do not want to call a lawyer; they just want to get better and go back to work. Only when the recommended medical treatment has been denied, of their claim turned down by the workers compensation insurance carrier do most injured workers reluctantly call our office; only when it is not possible for them to work do they come to us for help.

The Alabama workers compensation attorneys at Powell and Denny are experienced and will work hard to help you achieve the best results possible in your claim and help you get back to work. If you have any questions about a job injury claim you or a friend might have, do not hesitate to call and talk to one of our experienced attorneys and let us help you.
