Alabama Disability Attorney HOMEWOOD Bullous disease

contactAlabama Disability Attorney HOMEWOOD Bullous disease

Alabama Disability Attorney HOMEWOOD: Bullous disease is term given to a group of dermatology diseases which are characterized by the formation of fluid filled blisters over large areas of the skin surface. The group includes: Bullous Pemphigoid; Linear immunoglobulin; Epidermolysis Bullosa Qcquisita; Dermatitis Herpetiformis; Stevens-Johnson Syndrome; Pemphigus Foliaceus; Pemphigus Vulgaris and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis.

Often with these diseases, people suffer large, painful blisters which leave behind raw sores which are prone to infection. Outbreaks can occur on one's fingers, hands, arms, feet, toes, legs, groin and neck region. During the outbreaks and immediately following them, the effected portions of the body are basically unusable due to the pain associated and the need to keep the affected region properly dressed. It is difficult to properly care for oneself during these times, much less engage in sustained full time work.

If you or a loved one lives in Homewood, AL (or anywhere in Jefferson County*), you are suffering from a Bullous disease and you believe you are disabled as the result and therefore entitled to Social Security Disability or SSI benefits, you do not have to tackle the Social Security Administration alone. Please feel free to  one of the experienced Alabama Disability Attorneys at Powell and Denny today.
