GREGORY T. DENNY earned his B.A. at the University of Alabama in Birmingham 1988, where he majored in both philosophy and political science. He obtained his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law in 1991. He has served as Chair of both the AAJ Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability sections and the Birmingham Bar Workers’ Compensation section.

He is a founding member of Powell and Denny, P.C. where his practice is concentrated in the areas of workers’ compensation, social security disability and automobile tort litigation. Mr. Denny has written articles and organized several conferences on Alabama Workers’ Compensation law. He is also one of the founding members of the Tom Robinson Society which is a group comprised of over 30 Alabama lawyers dedicated to fighting for the rights of Alabama’s workers.

In his spare time he is the chair of the U.A.B. Philosophy Department’s Advisory Committee and has appeared on the game shows Jeopardy! and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
